First gigs coming up!
Great news! As you might have noticed, we’ve added “Tour Dates” to our site navigation. This month alone, we already have 3 gigs! Okay, one is private, but here are our first two public ones this month:

Terrateya and Stefan parting ways
Due to the demanding schedule of our singer Stefan’s vocational training, the band and he have decided to part ways. The decision was not easy, as we all know and appreciate his artistic qualities. It was reached amicably after long deliberation, and we agree that this is the only way that makes sense to ensure both sides can continue at the pace that best suits our individual needs.
While we have good news for you on other fronts, we will inform you about them in the near future in order to give this very important occasion the room it deserves.

New Logo!
We have a new logo!
Various aspects moved us to include an eclipsed earth in our band logo:
1. Our band name was originally inspired by the ancient Greek word ‘terateia‘, meaning ‘stories of wonder and adventure‘. We chose to spell the word differently to make it look more modern, among other things. Terra, the first part of our name, means Earth or land in Latin. So we like to think of Terrateya meaning ‘the planet of wonder and adventure’! 
2. As many like-minded people, we are very concerned about the state of our planet. Wars, destruction, conflict, pollution… these are all themes that influence our music and our lyrics. We don’t want to see our home fall into darkness. The glimmer of the sun is our sense of hope that we want to share with our fans. Our hope lies in the fact, that it is within our power to change our actions and mind-set. We can feel this happening all over the world already.

We are finally COMPLETE!

Known to many as the drummer from the band Deathbutcher, he will now also wield the sticks in the name of Terrateya!
